Meteotest's Solar Web Services offer you exactly the solar data you need.

We deliver forecasts and measurements for power grid management, power trading, monitoring and operation of pv plants, building automation and facility management.

Meteotest offers three products which can be used separately or in combination with one another. A flexible web service together with an attractive price model guarantee an excellent cost/performance ratio in all fields of application.

Our Solar Web Services range from -24h measurements to +72h forecasts. With the Advanced option you get a time span from -7 days to +9 days.

SolarSat

Measured radiation data for the last 24 hours, updated every 15 minutes.

SolarSat delivers satellite measured solar radiation values with quarter-hourly resolution.

You receive the following parameters:

  • global horizontal radiation
  • global radiation on inclined plane
  • clear sky radiation
  • reference yield
  • temperature

CloudMove

Solar radiation forecast for the next 6 hours, updated every 15 minutes.

The CloudMove technology predicts cloud movement using wind information from weather models and cloud positions from satellites.

You receive the following parameters:

  • global horizontal radiation
  • global radiation on inclined plane
  • direct and diffuse radiation
  • direct normal radiation
  • reference yield
  • temperature

Options:

  • Booster: improve forecast by uploading local measurements in real-time

Solar radiation forecast for the next 72 hours, updated every hour.

Forecast data from weather models is specifically optimized for solar energy applications.

You receive the following parameters:

  • temperature
  • humidity, wind, ...
